⏳ Living up to the name
Not too much pressure or challenge and arriving in flow.
Hey there/just me again,
Yesterday, I had a super productive day. I was excited about what I working on and it was clear why I was working.
✅ neverperfect.co set live, had to fix weird issues made by the Framer AI (which is still incredibly cool!)
✅ met developer on project 004, saw the first demo, really impressed
My major realisation was that I procrastinate when I perceive the challenge in front of me to be too great. I love learning new things and software. However, when faced with Git instructions, I could feel my mind trying to convince me to do literally anything else.
I powered through for a bit and realised I literally couldn’t execute the task and moved on to the next one… messaging the developer to check he was still good to meet later that day.
Note to self:
📌 when I am procrastinating, or feeling I am about to, try and figure out why
📌 if overwhelmed, break the task into the smallest actions on paper and tick through them
📌 if that fails, ask for help from someone
Also in keeping with the name of this newsletter, I will not put too much pressure on sending it daily. However, as a tool it is incredible to make me accountable to myself and actually reflect on the past day.
It is Day 2 and it is already late… let’s see.
Kind regards,
Jay
